SAR Technology Inc. is please to announce the completed development of the 'Searchlight Scanner' - a field-portable AI-SAR Scanner - specifically designed to detect many common Search & Rescue targets - live, and in real-time.
The 'Searchlight Scanner' operates as a rugged and entirely independant stand-alone AI device - without requiring any external connectivity of any kind.
The scanner may be used in a helicopter or aircaft, a moving vehicle, or in a stationary mode at a fixed location. The scanner will also accept live or recorded feeds from a connected computer or drone.

Airborne AI-Panning Camera
The 'Searchlight Scanner' utilizes a powerful, on-board AI Super-Computer to locally process its dual camera feeds to detect multiple selected targets - simultaneously. All of the detections found are automatically alerted and auto-saved for immediate recall.
With five available cameras the AI scanner may be used around-the-clock
- at dawn, dusk, daytime or night-time, delivering complete 24-hour detection capability.

The scanner's novel design permits it to scan across a significantly wider search-track, and a much longer search-path, than typical systems, creating a much larger total area coverage, even within a limited amount of available search time. An important capability for major large-area land and maritime searches.
The scanner's on-board AI system can simultaneously detect up to twelve different types of typical SAR targets, commonly sought during land, sea and air SAR missions. It's rugged 'Built-For-SAR' features include military-grade connectors, an intelligent Power Module, up to four separate land/sea/air power sources, hot-swappable batteries, built-in system redundancy and a high-accuracy, wide-area, 56-channel GPS.
